In your eyes i see a child
she comes and goes
in and out windows
shades partly drawn
only to open wide
in an eiderdown room
where soft cries of love
light the dawn
you dress stealthily
the door closes
the child leaves
shuttered once more
i gather cobwebs
threads of silk
from he corner
near the door
where you left them
