Letters From TbT #4 . . .

READER SURPRISED!

What a delightful surprise it was to come home to a white Christmas made even brighter by my winning First Place honours in your short fiction contest. Thank you so very mucyh for the $5.00. That now makes me a professional! actually, I couldn't believe it when I opened Tickled by Thunder, and there on page 3 'Keyed Out' (Vol. 1, No. 3) jumped right out at me. I had to look at the name several times before I convinced myself that it was indeed me! It was such an honour and a tremendous way to end 1990.

I've been an avid reader of your newsletter ever since its inception, and it's such a pleasure to see it growing by leaps and bounds. It's fast becoming an international forum for writers all over the world -- a veritable united Nations of culture. As a world traveler myself, I can truly appreciate such an outlet where a writer's voice can be heard far above the madding crowd. I am proud to be a member, and my New Year's wish to you is that many more writers join me on your bandwagon.

I look forward to reading your next issue -- and several more after that!
