ANOTHER
LETTERS SUMMARY . . .
[Editor's Note: For whatever
reason, I chose not to print letters received
this issue and wrote a short article about them
instead.]
Many
of you have renewed your subscriptions to TbT and
took the time to respond to a small survey.
All
of you who responded gave us high marks in virtually
every area, save markets.
"could
you find more Canadian markets for Canadian writers?" asked
a spokesman for the Langley Writers' Guild. "In
a few years Canadians will have no identity in
the world of literature. We'll be pouring out our
souls to Uncle Sam."
About
half of you keep TbT in a 3-ring binder, the rest
prefer the present digest-sized format -- but stapled.
Kent
Lyons said, "It's refreshing, well-written,
and has excellent coverage."
