TRY,
TRY AND TRY AGAIN . . .
I have been very fortunate in the last
couple of years. I had already had a picture book
publisher go bankrupt, then I signed a contract for
an adult novel, and soon after a Youth novel contract.
Both have now gone bankrupt.
Yes! I was very depressed and very
disappointed, but the urge to write still continued.
So, trying to put the bad-luck behind me, I again
sent my work out. At this time of writing three of
my stories are under review.
Wish me luck, you readers, and don’t
give up on yourselves. Keep the motto, ‘try,
try and try again,’ uppermost in your minds.

THE
FUTURE IS NOW . . .
…and then I checked the mail
and found your (acceptance) letter.
Eyes widening. Heartbeat quickening.
Reading the letter three times, just to make sure
I actually was awake.
Fantastic! So glad you liked the story.
I’ve made a few changes in the manuscript… (Same
Old Cat, Vol. 8, No. 20).
Thanks again for the acceptance, the
kind words, and the reassurance that yes, the future
is now.

BETTER
AND BETTER . . .
TbT just gets better and better. I
particularly enjoyed ‘Expressions.’ What
an inspired addition! It pulled me out of the doldrums
and back to the keyboard. It’s great to be
writing again.
Once again, Larry, thank you for publishing
TbT; a power-packed magazine that entertains, informs,
and inspires the writer in us all.
