Letters From TbT #25 . . .

JUST A LITTLE APPRECIATION . . .

I love the bit about the Rabbit in Your Writing [Vol. 10, No. 24 - by Robert R. Hostetler].

I'm going to print it and paste it up in front of the computer.

RESURRECTION . . . ALLELULIA!

This isn't an Easter anthem, despite the ‘subject!’ Thank you for the bonus issue of TBT - it’s great to see it back in circulation once more. And chock-full of interesting articles, stories and poems...as good or better than ever.

TRULY FLATTERED . . .

I want to thank you for considering and accepting my story Scented Memories for your publication [Vol. 10, No. 24]. It’s a very special feeling seeing your own work in print, sharing thoughts and emotions with others, putting your heart and soul into something. Five years have passed since I decided to trek into the literary world with most of it, until now, adding up to lots of work with little or no reward. But your publication changed all that, and I want to sincerely thank you.

The short story has a unique feeling for me. The piece is based of course on my growing up with many different occurrences, some true, some a combination of events, but all reminding me of the sweet memories of childhood and the family I shared them with. But since so much has changed since then, this story, now in print, makes it possible to create an endearing tribute to my mother, father, and brother and the home which we made. Besides, now I can put something on a cover letter other than a title and my name. Like, I have been published – by Tickled by Thunder.

ALWAYS A RUSH . . .

Thanks for publishing my poem, Borders Open Mike, in your Winter issue. It’s always a rush when an editor who received hundreds of poems in his mail singles you out for recognition.

P.S. – I found the poem The Burning Bush by Giovanni Malito extremely moving.

Keep up the good work.
